I started my handmade polymer clay jewellery business, ‘U OClay Hun?’ during lockdown in July 2020. I’ve been making jewellery for a while and it suddenly got to that point where a range of wearable creations that look edible (but aren’t) felt like the ultimate way to express myself. Combine that with a pun, a love of sarcasm and a lot of bright colours and… U OClay Hun was born. This project has brought so much happiness and colour back into my life, and I hope to achieve that for my customers too with every item I sell.

In terms of the finer details, all my polymer clay beads are hand rolled, shaped, baked and sanded at home in my flat in London. I mostly work with silver plated fixings unless stated otherwise, but I am always happy to swap out to any preferred material on request to make my jewellery accessible to customers with allergies or sensitive skin. A lot of my creations are one-offs, and I intend to keep making those, but I’m additionally developing some recurring product ranges ahead of 2021. Existing lines include my “All Sorts Of Mischief” Liquorice Allsorts earrings, Dolly Mix earrings, and “Tiny Planets” marbled hoop earrings.
