LoRA stands for – Low Power, Wide Area (LPWA) networking protocol

This is relatively new technology which gives you the ability to design and manufacture products that require the ability to be battery operated and can operate over greater distances than what would be expected of a wifi coverage.

 

LoRa and LoRaWAN together define a Low Power, Wide Area (LPWA) networking protocol designed to wirelessly connect battery operated ‘things’ to the internet in regional, national or global networks, and targets key Internet of things (IoT) requirements such as bi-directional communication, end-to-end security, mobility and localisation services.

 

The low power, low bit rate, and IoT use, distinguish this type of network from a wireless WAN that is designed to connect users or businesses, and carry more data, using more power. The LoRaWAN data rate ranges from 0.3 kbit/s to 50 kbit/s per channel.

Tracking numbers are issued by email on the day of despatch.

 

 

*International Customers May be required to pay Customs fees in their country. If this is the case then the delivery carrier are required to collect these fees from you directly before delivery to you. This is often done easily online through them direct.

• Place the sensor tube in the skimmer basket with the bracket provided
• Place the tap valve on your external tap
• Run your hose from the tap valve to the pool
• Connect the LoRA gateway to your home wifi
• Create an account on the app and register your device
• Set your high and low settings

 

All done, you now have an automated top up system on your swimming pool.

 

The Aquatopper has a built in safety feature should you have a power cut of lose wifi when the tap valve is open and will automatically switch off if a signal is not received in a 30 minute period.

 

If you have a holiday home and not always at your property you will be able to see if you have developed any leaks as the app will tell you when filling has commenced, potentially saving you from a huge water bill!
