RainWater Harvesting Ltd are delighted to announce that they are winners of the 2020 Homebuilding and Renovating Awards Best Rainwater Product which was announced Friday 24th July during the Virtual Show.
During this difficult year mains water consumption has risen significantly and increased strain on the network. Rainwater can be used for toilets, washing machines and outside use so a significant saving on mains supply. There is no need to flush toilets with treated drinking quality bought from miles away. Rainwater is collected off the roof, filtered and stored in an underground tank. Water is then pumped back from the harvesting tank to the home. Harvesting water can also act as a Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) to prevent flooding. Collecting and using water where it falls makes common sense.
