New initiative invites supporters to help sustain and grow the movement championing British manufacturing, heritage crafts, and independent makers across the UK
Let’s Buy British has announced the launch of a new community-led donation scheme designed to support the continued growth of its mission to champion British-made brands, heritage crafts, and independent manufacturers across the United Kingdom.
As interest in British manufacturing continues to grow, the platform is evolving to ensure it can keep shining a light on the makers, stories, and businesses that form the backbone of the UK’s creative and manufacturing industries.
The new initiative allows supporters to make one-off contributions of £10, £20, £30, £40, or £50, helping to directly fund the development of the platform, increase visibility for British-made businesses, and continue sharing the stories of independent makers from across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Founded by Mark, Sue, and Hannah Cooper, Let’s Buy British has grown from a simple idea into a thriving community of more than 13,000 supporters and hundreds of British-made businesses. The platform exists to connect consumers with authentic British craftsmanship, while encouraging more conscious, locally focused purchasing decisions.
Hannah Cooper, Co-Founder of Let’s Buy British, said:
“We’ve always been a community-led movement. Everything we’ve built has come from people who believe in British makers and want to see them thrive. This donation scheme simply gives those who want to support us further a way to directly help keep the movement growing.”
Funds raised through the scheme will be reinvested into platform development, storytelling, brand discovery, and raising awareness of British manufacturing and heritage crafts across the UK.
At a time when small businesses continue to face increasing pressure from global mass production and rising costs, Let’s Buy British aims to strengthen the visibility of independent makers and ensure that British craftsmanship remains at the forefront of consumer choice.
The donation scheme is now live via the Let’s Buy British website.
